This project involved a major expansion of a chiropractic clinic located in a previously converted house. The renovation doubled the area of the office and added specialized massage, and x-ray facilities. The building is located in a sensitive residential zoning district where the client felt it critical to maintain the residential character but to modernize the interior. The character of the building was maintained through a refreshing update which included traditional detailing to draw attention to the well established clinic. Updating the clinic also meant incorporating modern technologies, such as energy efficiency systems, as well as upgrading the windows and improving the insulation.
