The Southwest Family Medical Clinic moved to these new offices as part of the Ministry of Health- Family Health Team Initiative. The new clinic permits four physicians to provide health services together with allied health care providers in a space designed for efficient service to patients and efficient integrated space. The unusual shape of the base suite provided space planning challenges which was overcome by providing optimum functionality for patient, nurse and physician interaction through the use of a nursing/reception “hub”.
