This custom house is in a rural cottage community in North Burlington. The design required strict conformance with local design guidelines to maintain the cottage rustic atmosphere unique to this heritage community. The process also involved both NEC and Halton Conservation Authority Approval process and negotiation which limited the development. The house was designed together with the client, who like to entertain and host their extended family, a large exterior screened porch overlooks the beautiful creek and valley woodlands is perfect for this purpose.
